Aotearoa New Zealand editors in the spotlight

It was great to see Aotearoa New Zealand editors and WANZ members in the media spotlight over the weekend.

Speaking with Gwen Mcclure at The Detail for RNZ were 2023 Wikipedia Laureate Siobhan Leachman, and WANZ committee member Axel Downard-Wilke, who cleverly explained just how Wikipedia works, remains up-to-date, and manages mis and disinformation.

Further south, Tamsin Braisher was interviewed by Jesse Mulligan for RNZ about the edit-a-thon she was running at Otago University for International Women’s Day, part of the movement’s Women in Red project.
